Sutton Courtenay Craft and Produce Show - 5th September 2020

The produce show committee are hoping that the show will go ahead this year on Saturday, September 5th.

We listened to comments at the last show and are producing a schedule that allows the children and   young people to take part more fairly. The children’s classes will all be judged in two age ranges - under 6 and 7-11 years of age and also in some of the other classes we have included a section for the 12-16 years old.  Some people commented that in the Craft section  the size of the quilt (1sq.m) is limiting so this year we have allowed larger sizes but it must be folded to 1 m. sq., due to lack of space, and it will be judged folded.

The schedule will also be in the July/August issue of the Sutton Courtenay News and on the web site.  Anyone can enter and we hope to see even more of our new residents taking part this year.

If we are not able to hold a show at all this year, we plan to use the same schedule for 2021 so anything you want to enter this year in the Arts, Craft or Photography classes will be able to go in the show then. So put self-isolation time to good use and get planning, painting, making, taking photographs and planting what you can now.
